The ROG Strix XG49VQ features FreeSync™- 2-HDR technology, which provides a butter-smooth image display with low latency as well as more brightness and contrast. FreeSync 2 provides low-latency image processing for both standard and HDR content, eliminating the input lag associated with HDR content.

HIGH DYNAMIC RANGE (HDR) WITH DCI-P3 90% AND DISPLAYHDR™ 400
To provide the best HDR experience, ROG will test each monitor prior to delivery to ensure that it meets the requirements of the DisplayHDR™ 400 certification. To meet this standard, the maximum luminance of the ROG Strix XG49VQ must be 450cd/m² – 50% higher than standard dynamic range monitors. In addition, the XG49VQ offers a DCI-P3 90% color space and high contrast performance.
